training philosophies

 We have 2 trainers who each specialize in different training methods. Most importantly, we address each dog individually and use LIMA (least intrusive and minimally aversive) to dictate the most effective methods and tools to use with the dog. 

Our president, Mya, is incredibly well-versed in balanced training methods with a focus on positive reinforcement. 

Our other trainer, Lauren, is well-practiced in force-free methods of training. 

Both of our trainers have attended formal dog training schooling and hold several certifications. Click here for a list of accomplishments and certifications.

We use a variety of tools when appropriate including martingale collars, herm sprenger prong collars and e-collars that use stimulation, vibration and audible tones. Our e-collars do not use shock. 

We tailor each training plan to the dog in front of us!
