Mya Masse grew up around dogs. Her grandma bred and showed in confirmation with her Golden Retrievers. Her mother, Heather Masse, opened up a dog boarding kennel when Mya was only three years old. As a little girl, Mya began showing in confirmation and attending dog training classes. Her mom also had trainers come to the kennel and hold classes. Mya would go to sessions and observe. As she grew up, she would train dogs here and there just for fun. Once she got into high school, she realized training was her passion. She started by puppy raising a dog for another organization. Then she began doing her own training out of her mom's boarding kennel, Autumglo. Along her way she helped others train their own service dogs and even got a service dog herself and has begun training him.

My passion lies in pairing each unique dog personality with a person’s lifestyle and needs—creating life-changing partnerships. I am a proud graduate of the Partners in Policymaking program and currently work full-time in health care consulting, combining advocacy, insight, and practical expertise to support individuals with disabilities and their families.
