Board and Train Program

Partners with Paws is proud to offer board and train services to owner trainers. This service is available to clients who are enrolled in our owner-trainer program or clients who are not currently enrolled in a training program. 

Board and train services include overnight accommodations and multiple daily sessions with our trainers. 

• Intensive training on topics of the handler's choosing. This can include house and leash manners, basic commands, CGC skills, task training,  public access skills, and more. 

What is asked of me?

• To qualify for our board and train program, you must have a medically diagnosed disability. 
• Owner-trainers must have the desire to work and train their own service dog and have a realistic plan of use for their dog. 
• Provide proof that the canine is up to date on all vaccines including DHLPP, Rabies, and Bordetella.
• Provide proof that the canine is up to date on heartworm and tick prevention. 
• Provide food for your dog's stay.

Accommodations

• Dogs will stay at Autumglo Pet Lodge during their program.
• During training breaks, dogs will be provided with enrichment. 

 Prospective Owner Trainers must complete a consultation

• 1-hour Consultation at Autumglo Pet Lodge -  $50
• Facility tours are available during consultations

* Virtual consultations are only available to those living outside of Wisconsin or further than 1 hour away from Autumglo Pet Lodge. 

Once a consultation and application are completed and you are admitted into the program, the following fees will apply: 

• Owner Training Board and Train Tuition - $900 per week (1-week minimum)

Upon admission to our program, you will be asked to make a non-refundable down payment of $300 to reserve your dates. 

Full tuition cost is due at drop off. 

Payment plans are available on a case-by-case basis upon request.
